Hike and Wine and Cheese Boat Cruise

March 23, 2009 by admin

Sure the view from Mount Washington is great but the view from a PittsburghWaterLimo is just as good and more unique! On Saturday, March 21 over thirty people followed Trip Leader Mike Consla on a hike over three different bridges and through Pittsburgh’s city center learning history along the way. The highlight of the trip was the finale when everyone climbed aboard a PittsburghWaterLimo for a scenic boat cruise around Downtown Pittsburgh. Participants sampled Spanish wine and cheese while taking in the unique views!

A special thanks to Trip Leader David Bennett for taking photos!

Our first VO event! What a great group with great trip leaders. Thanks to Mike for interesting urban commentary, Dave for super wine/cheese choices and Robert for keeping us on track. See you at the Star Party in April!
