The Pittsburgh House Rabbit Club volunteers -- and the shelter bunnies -- had a GREAT time at the festival!

We were thrilled to have the opportunity to promote rabbits as house pets (yes, they really DO use the litterbox) and to educate people about the dangers of domestic rabbits being set free outdoors.

We are currently recruiting volunteers to help trap pet rabbits abandoned in streets, parking lots, fields, cemetaries, suburban backyards, and generally anywhere OTHER than safely indoors. Free training will be offered on Wednesday,, June 10, at Animal Friends.

For details about this fun and unusual way to help animals, email us at info@pittsburghhouserabbit.org

Thanks for a great event! We will definitely be back next year.
