Allegheny Riverfront Vision Activities

The Allegheny Riverfront Vision Plan is part of a development project lead by Perkins Eastman that is aimed at redeveloping the stretch of land along the Allegheny River from the Highland Park Bridge to the David L. Lawrence Convention Center. Venture Outdoors is working with the Allegheny Riverfront Vision to host several activities aimed at getting people dreaming and planning about the future of this area.
Activities are free and open to the public, but space is limited so please RSVP. The activities are listed below; and details and RSVP information can be found on their poster.

Allegheny River Dragon Boat Trip
Friday, August 21; 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM
Meet at Three Rivers Rowing on Washington’s Landing, followed by some convivial eating and drinking at Redfin Blues, overlooking the river

Allegheny Riverfront Vision Historic Bike Tour
Saturday, August 22; 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Meet in front of the History Center

Allegheny Riverfront Kayak Trip
Thursday, August 27; 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM
Meet downtown followed by happy hour at Soho on the North Side

Heth’s Run Ice Cream Social
Wednesday, September 9; 6:00 PM
Meet at the Zoo followed by ice cream social at Ice Cream Station Zebra
