It was a beautiful day for a walk on Saturday, October 22, and we had a great group come out to enjoy the Jack O’ Lantern Walk in Schenely Park. In costumes aplenty (my favorite being the mummy!) we set out to take in a little history of Pittsburgh’s second biggest park.

McKinley Park hosts Family Festival

The second of our three Highmark Family Outdoor Festivals is Saturday, July 23 from Noon–4 p.m. at McKinley Park near Beltzhoover!

If you’ve never heard of McKinley Park or Beltzhoover, they’re worth checking out (see map)! Beltzhoover is a unique budding community that’s part of the Hilltop neighborhoods on the South Side, and McKinley Park is a great venue to try free beginner friendly geocaching and biking!
