Bean's] efforts to establish a store in Pittsburgh, they did research here to find out about the area and found us,” said Sean Brady, assistant executive director of Venture Outdoors. “In our discussions with them, we discussed the Family and Community Programs Initiative and they thought it very closely matched their corporate goals here.”

Join the Community Ride: October 4

This Saturday, October 4th, as a kick of to Pittsburgh Celebrates 250, The PNC Legacy Trail Ride will celebrate the opening of a 335-mile hiking and biking trail connecting Washington D.C. and Pittsburgh. The ride will finish on in Point State Park when families are encouraged to bike the last leg of The PNC Legacy Relay and The VO 250 Bike Tour, from the Hot Metal Bridge or PNC Firstside Center to Point State Park.
