NAME THAT PARK!

August 19, 2009 by admin · 1 Comment

There’s a brand new city park in Pittsburgh and it takes up a large part of one of our most beloved tourism attractions, Mt. Washington. It has everything…lots of trees and trails, great views of the skyline, historical significance, an eclectic mix of homes and two really cool inclines. One thing it doesn’t have is a really good name!

Now, you can help the Mt. Washington Community Development Corporation and VisitPittsburgh NAME THAT PARK. Vote for the BEST name at www.visitpittsburgh.com/name-that-park.

The Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy is coordinating focus groups in order to gain some more information about usage of the city parks. They are in looking for people who use any of the four city parks; Frick, Schenley, Highland and Riverview. If you are interested or if you know someone else who may be, contact Laura Cook at lcook@pittsburghparks.org
