Save the date for the 2009 Venture Outdoors Festival this year at newly renovated Point State Park!
On Saturday, May 16 Point State Park will spring to life with outdoor activities. Come try your hand at the climbing wall, bike the bridges for Downtown or test out a kayak on the waters of the Allegheny River all for FREE! This event is also a great way to connect with other outdoor enthusiasts in Southwestern Pennsylvania. Mark your calendars and get there for the fun this is sure to be our greatest festival yet!

This Saturday, October 4th, as a kick of to Pittsburgh Celebrates 250, The PNC Legacy Trail Ride will celebrate the opening of a 335-mile hiking and biking trail connecting Washington D.C. and Pittsburgh. The ride will finish on in Point State Park when families are encouraged to bike the last leg of The PNC Legacy Relay and The VO 250 Bike Tour, from the Hot Metal Bridge or PNC Firstside Center to Point State Park.
